RJ Vassas

With 34 years of teaching experience as a USPTA/RSPA pro, Hot Shots Head Professional, RJ Vassas brings his passion for player development and expertise to the court.

As a tennis player RJ accomplished:

  • Jackson High School State Qualifier 

  • The Ohio State University and Malone University 2 time National Championships Qualifier 

  • USPTA Midwest player of the year

  • USTA National Championships

In 2023 RJ discovered pickleball and immediately loved the game. He is a USPTA/RSPA certified pickleball pro and enjoys competing as well as coaching. As part owner and pickleball professional of Hot Shots, RJ is excited to share his coaching experience, competitiveness, and love for pickleball with everyone!
