Susan has over 12 years of experience playing competitive pickleball. She has earned numerous gold medals at local, state, and regional levels, and recently medaled at the National Senior Olympics and the U.S. Championships in Florida. Her passion for the game continues both on and off the court, where she remains an active participant in tournaments.

Her background includes 35 years in physical education and health, as well as coaching varsity volleyball and basketball. She has been certified as a pickleball instructor through Pickleball Coaching International (PCI) for the past 5 years, working with players to build confidence at every stage of the learning process.

Although she still enjoys playing competitively, her greatest fulfillment now comes from teaching. She encourages her students to have fun, show good sportsmanship, support fellow players, and embrace the physical and mental benefits of the game- reminding them that these rewards often outweigh any medal.
